What is Fantasy Photography?

Fantasy photography is all about creating magical, otherworldly vibes that pull you into a whole new realm. It's a mix of imagination, creativity, and storytelling that brings to life scenes straight out of fairytales, folklore, and myths. Think of it like stepping into a world where anything is possible—where magic, mystery, and wonder are just waiting to be discovered.

One of my favorite genres of photography, is fantasy photography. Fantasy photography not only allows me to really have some fun with my editing process, but it also gives my clients a work of art that embodies how they feel on the inside. Whether my clients are looking to cosplay as a particular character, or just add some magic and whimsy into their lives, I'm totally here for it!

The photos above are from two of my most recent fantasy photoshoots. These photoshoots were both done at Brush Creek Park in Beaver Falls. The first photo is my husband, Cody, who was such a good sport modeling for me! I had a really fun idea for a sorcerer casting spells vibe and he was willing to model for me so I could play around with the idea! I absolutely love how it looks and will be sharing more from his model shoot soon!

The second photo is of a good friend of mine, Chloe. We also went out to Brush Creek Park for her shoot as well (state parks are some of my favorite shooting locations) and we had a great time diving into the dark, moody, alternative style that she was embracing! After her photoshoot was finished, she gave me free creative reign over her photos and trusted my expertise. Because Chloe is an actress at a haunted house during spooky season (and is a BIG horror fan), I thought it would be very fitting to do a few horror edits of the poses that fit. That being said, she doesn't actually have a split tongue, that's all just photo magic!
